If you think that Thanksgiving food is not complete without turkey then you haven’t tried vegan thanksgiving food. Vegan people can enjoy thanksgiving as much as others. These are some very delicious dished that vegan people can enjoy:

  • Brussels Sprouts and Pistachios and Lime.

Crispy Cruncheties Mashed Potatoes:

So, ingredients for this delicious dish are:

  • Golden Potatoes.
  • Divided head of garlic.
  • Thyme
  • Black peppercorns.
  • Unsalted butter.
  • Whole milk.
  • Salt
  • Lemon
  • Paprika
  • Parsley

How to Make it?

Place golden potatoes on baking sheet or in an iron skillet and then roast it in a oven preheat at 400 degrees. It will take almost 40 to 50 minutes to become tender.

Cut complete garlic in half and put it in pan with thyme, butter, peppercorns, 3 cups milk a table spoon of salt.

Remove lemon zest from lemon using vegetable peeler. Simmer your mixture over medium-high heat, stir lightly. After this remove the mixture from heat immediately and let is sit around half hour.

When your potatoes are done use mash your potatoes finely.

Add garlic mixture to the simmer, drain it through fine cloth or mesh and add into pot with potatoes. Put your potato mixture on medium heat until liquid is evaporated. Season it if needed and then serve.

Brussels Sprouts and Pistachios and Lime:

This delicious dish is crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked and soft on the inside. So, ingredients for this delicious dish are:

  • Trimmed brussels sprouts.
  • Unsalted butter.
  • Vegetable oil.
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pistachious.
  • Honey
  • Lemon zest.
  • Lime juice.
  • Pepper flakes.

How to make it?

Take a large bowl of brussels sprouts and oil to coat; and season with pepper and oil. Put brussels sprouts on a baking sheet for 15 minutes in the oven which is preheat to 450 degree. Roast them until they get deep brown color. Reduce some temperature of oven and roast again 10 minutes. Melt butter in a large pot on medium heat. Add pistachios and salt and cook. Do this until nuts are golden brown.

On the other side simmer honey and lime juice in the same pot over medium heat. Add one table spoon of water and stir. Then add brussels sprouts and toss. Toss nuts, lime zest pepper flakes, salt with brussels sprouts.

 Caramelized Onion Tart and Squash:

This delicious dish can replace turkey for our vegan friends, this dish can be the main act for your thanksgiving food. So, ingredients for this delicious dish are:

Delicious Crust:

  • Whole wheat flour.
  • Salt
  • All-purpose flour.
  • Unsalted butter.

For Filling and Assembly:

  • olive oil, extra-virgin.
  • Fine sliced Yellow onions.
  • Salt
  • Garlic cloves sliced.
  • Cayenne pepper.
  • Dijon mustard.
  • Grated cheddar.
  • Butternut squash.
  • Delicata squash.
  • Sweet potato.
  • Unsalted butter.
  • Thyme
  • Red Onion.
  • Sea Salt.

How to make your Crust?

Combine all purpose flour, salt and wheat flour and whisk then butter and mix dry ingredients. Now make a dough, mix all the stuff and wrap in plastic. Chill it and let it sit for at least 3 hours.

Light flour the surface and roll the dough and transfer to tart pan. Now press into corner and trim the excess.

How to make Filling and Assembly?

Add Yellow onions in a large pan and sprinkle oil and salt. Set it on medium heat and cook onions until they are golden brown. Add garlic and cook until onions caramelized.

On your chilled dough add some mustard and cayenne pepper. Mix cheese into caramelized onion and then spread across crust in an even layer.

Put your vegetable that you cut in the circular manner, leaning slices against crust. Drizzle some more oil and salt.

Bake until vegetable is browned and crust is golden brown. This will take almost 75 to 90 minutes. Brush Melted thyme and butter and brush over your tart.
